Our Story

The Den Zone: Past, Present, and Future

The Arkansas State University Pavilion, or "The Pav" as generations of Red Wolves alumni call it, has been the heart of campus memories since 1978. For decades, it's been where students gathered, where friendships were forged, and where some of the best college moments happened. Owner Jerry Rapert, himself an A-State alumnus with his own Pav memories, set out to honor that irreplaceable heritage while bringing it into the modern era.

The Den Zone isn't just a bar and restaurant. It's the first major step in A-State's vision for a vibrant entertainment district. We've designed it to be the place where you feel at home from your first campus visit through graduation and beyond. Wall-to-wall TVs for every game, live entertainment all week, affordable food, study spaces by the water, and eventually a dance floor. All within walking distance for most students. Before 10 p.m., we're a welcoming space for everyone. After that, we bring the energy.

A-State leadership, students, and the community shaped every detail. This is a place that honors the past while meeting the needs of today's Red Wolves. We're proud to support the Red Wolves Foundation and student organizations, because this is about building a stronger, safer, more vibrant campus community.
